Prof. P B Sharma is an eminent academician, founder Vice
Chancellor of Delhi Technological University, DTU and
RGPV and past President of the Association of Indian
Universities, AIU is currently the Vice chancellor of
AUH. A renowned thought leader and an institution
builder Prof. Sharma has been an eminent member of CABE
and also Chairman of Central Counselling Board of
Ministry of Education, Govt of India and currently is
Vice Chancellor of Amity University Gurugram. A
passionate researcher, innovator and a champion of
quality and relevance of higher education and research,
Prof. Sharma during his 55 years of academic and

Prof. Priyaranjan Trivedi is a world-renowned

the Senior Advisor of the Human Settlements Program
after his retirement as the Chief of the United Nations
Inter-Agency Coordination besides the Global Parliaments

Global Urban Observations and Publications of the
Compendium of Human Settlement Statistics and Atlas

offices Nairobi on the matters of the Staff

Prof. Tendai Padenga, is the Founder Chancellor of
Afrisol Technological University, Deemed University. A
reputed computer science professional, Dr Padenga is an
alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia, Gujarat Technological

alumnus of the Commonwealth Register of Fellows and also
a Distinguished Aluminous Fellow of Indian Council for

Khandal received his PhD Degree from Indian School of
Mines, now IIT Dhanbad in Applied Chemistry. He is a
Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) UK and a
renowned scientist in the areas of chemical sciences and
clean technologies.
Prof. Khandal
is known for the conversion of ideas from lab scale to
commercial scale. He is well known for his expertise in
various branches of the chemical sciences, leading
several groups of scientists pursuing research in
various areas of science and technology.

Khandal served with distinction the prestigious Sri Ram
Institute for Industrial Research Delhi as its Director
for more than 11 years before taking over as the Vice
Chancellor UPTU, Lucknow. He is known for his research
in: nano-technology, renewable energy, green buildings,
food processing, pesticide formulations, polymers etc.
He is an expert of radiation processing technology,
natural polymers, food-safety management, validation of
new products and processes, waste management
technologies.
He has guided
30 PhD scholars and has authored more than 140 research
papers in peer reviewed National and International
journals of repute. He has 14 International Patents in
his name.

International award for Innovation; R.N Bangur Memorial
award for novel technologies; R.G Deshpande award for

Chaturvedi has contributed immensely to the growth of

8. Shri Prabhakar Singh |

Shri Prabhakar Singh, Former DG CPWD, India
Former Director General of the Central Public Works
Department (CPWD), Shri Prabhakar Singh has spent about
37 years with the organization, serving in different
capacities, having joined the central electrical and
mechanical engineering service, CPWD, as assistant
executive engineer in April 1982. During the span of his
career, he has made outstanding contributions to the
areas of engineering, encompassing planning, estimation,
design, project management, contract management,
financial management, maintenance management,
arbitration, e-governance, benchmarking standards,
vigilance and administration.
Prior to joining CPWD, Shri Singh made valuable
contributions to Indian Telephone Industries at
Bengaluru and Naini, where he was the head for the
prototype pilot production unit of the research and
development wing.
In his capacity
as Director General, Shri Singh has been responsible for
efficient administration of the CPWD, under the Ministry
of Housing and Urban Affairs. With support from his
highly qualified staff, he transformed CPWD into a
modern, efficient and focused organization. Shri Singh
has also been instrumental in ushering in new systems in
the area of e-governance and formulation of new policies
for the department.
As Director
General, he has also been technical adviser to the
Government of India on matters relating to civil,
electrical and mechanical engineering, horticulture and
architecture and processing of detailed project reports
for development of urban infrastructure projects as part
of various schemes of the government. During his career,
Singh has attended training programs on low-cost housing
in urban areas, the transition to efficient lighting,
automation, control and building management systems,
total quality management, contract and arbitration,
special skill development programs in illumination
engineering, etc.
Shri Singh is a
distinguished alumnus of the prestigious Indian
Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He also has a
postgraduate degree in business administration from the
Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and a special
postgraduate diploma in environmental management of
human settlements from the Institute of Human
Settlement, Rotterdam, Netherlands.

9. Prof. Raj Tiwari |

Prof. Raj Tiwari, Professor and Graduate Program
Director, New York Medical College, USA
A distinguished Professor of microbiology and
immunology, associate professor of otolaryngology and
graduate program director, Prof Raj Tiwari has been
named interim chairman of the Department of Microbiology
and Immunology, succeeding Ira Schwartz, Ph.D.,
professor of microbiology and immunology, medicine and
biochemistry and molecular biology, who recently retired
from his role as chairman. Dr. Tiwari joined the NYMC
faculty in 1996 and has maintained an active, funded
research program in immunological aspects of cancer
biology.
Prof Tiwari received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in
biochemistry from the University of Calcutta in India
and completed his postdoctoral training at the
University of Toronto in Canada and Memorial Sloan
Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Prior to
joining the NYMC community, he held faculty positions at
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill
Cornell Medical Center. Prof Tiwari�s research interests
in chemoprevention, tumour immunology and cancer therapy
has resulted in the publication of numerous
peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, review articles
and abstracts and he has lectured all over the world. He
also holds a faculty appointment in the Department of
Otolaryngology, where he led a joint collaboration in
the area of thyroid neoplasms.
Dr. Tiwari has attracted peer reviewed extramural
support that includes the National Institutes of Health,
Department of Defense and the American Institute of
Cancer Research. He has also been successful in
enhancing clinical translational research through an
active collaboration with academic clinicians,
especially in the NYMC Department of Otolaryngology and
the Department of Surgery at NYC Health +
Hospitals/Metropolitan. This clinical collaboration
enabled him to secure an Empire Clinical Research
Investigator Program (ECRIP) training grant for both
Westchester Medical Center and Metropolitan. He holds
several patents, which have played a key role in
collaborating with industry to attract research funds at
NYMC.
Dr. Tiwari is an honorary distinguished professor of
Amity University in India. He holds membership in many
academic societies including the American Association
for Cancer Research and he is an international reviewer
of Cancer Research for many countries including France,
Denmark, Israel, India and Italy. |
10. Mr. Anil Shah |

A global entrepreneur Shri Anil Shah,. is the founder
and president of MRCC, a large information technology
solutions and staffing firm headquartered in Billerica,
Mass., with additional offices in India. Mr. Shah earned
a degree in mechanical engineering from SATI India and a
master's degree in computer science from the University
of New Haven, US.
Mr. Shah has
more than 28 years of software engineering experience.
Under his dynamic leadership MRCC has delivered more
than 700 projects to its clients. His company employs
more than 1,000 employees worldwide. MRCC's clients
include many Fortune 500 companies, such as Grumman,
General Electric, Lehman Brothers, and Goldman Sachs, as
well as universities such as MIT and Harvard. MRCC is
also a major designer of computer systems for
e-learning, working with Houghton Mifflin and other
major publishers of e-books and products such as
Blackboard.
Mr. Shah was
elected to the University of New Haven's Board of
Governors in February 2020. He serves as a trustee of
the Kutchi Jain Foundation, a charitable organization in
India. A carporate leader with a compassionate heart,
Shri Anil Shah helped fund the development of MRCC Park,
a community of 66 homes for low-income families in
Nalasopala, Mumbai, India. He is a former member of the
Entrepreneurship and Innovation Advisory Board at the
University of New Haven.

Dr. Krishen Kumar, Former Chief Technologist JSC,
NASA, USA
Dr. Krishen has served as Innovation Champion and ST/
Chief Technologist for NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC)
and represented JSC as the Principal Technologist on the
NASA Council on Science and Technology. Dr. Krishen
served at Virginia Tech as University Fellow for
Technology Transfer, Office of Special Initiatives, and
Visiting Professor on a special NASA assignment. He has
also served as Adjunct Professor at Rice University. Dr.
Krishen�s academic degrees are from Kansas State
University (Ph.D. and M.S.-Phi Kappa Phi, Eta Kappa Nu &
Sigma Xi honors), Calcutta University (M. Tech and B.
Tech- Gold & Silver Medals), and Jammu and Kashmir
University (B.A.- Highest Univ. Merit) in electronics,
electrical engineering, radio physics, physics, and
mathematics.
Dr. Krishen
received the NASA Exceptional Service Medal in September
2018 recognizing his exceptional and sustained service
to NASA and the United States in the realm of
technological advancements in support of Human
Spaceflight. Authoring more than 170 technical
papers/reports/proceedings, Dr. Krishen is a Fellow of
the Society for Design and Process Science (SDPS),
Fellow and Distinguished Speaker of the Institution of
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, and an
Assoc. Fellow of American Institute of Aeronautics and
Astronautics (AIAA).

Prof. D.N. Reddy is an eminent academician and a
well-established institution builder with a vision for
tomorrows engineering and technology. He had a
destination of giving direction to JNTU University,
Hyderabad as its Vice Chancellor and contributed towards
policies and programs in Higher and Technical Education
in the Country. He has also held several positions in
Osmania University in various levels as Incharge
Vice-Chancellor, Principal, Dean � Engineering, Dr Reddy
was also responsible for career growth of Scientists of
DRDO Ministry of Defense, Govt of India, as the Chairman
RAC, for nearly 8000 scientists in 52 defense
laboratories across the country.
Dr. Reddy also
served as member of University Grants Commission and
National Board of Accreditation as Chairman Appellate
Committee. He has Professional association with many
Industries R&D Laboratories in the country. He is a
member of several professional societies in National and
International Institutions. Presently he is Director of
Dr.C.R.Rao Institute for Advanced Mathematics,

Dr V Suresh, Chairman, IGBC, Former CMD HUDCO, India
A highly illustrious past Chairman of India�s reputed
Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), Dr V
Suresh, with over 51 years of experience in the housing,
infrastructure, rural and urban development, real estate
development and built environment sectors is currently
the Director in the Hiranandani Group, dealing with
integrated and self-contained mixed-used townships.
Prior to this, he served as principal executive officer
of Hirco Private Limited for four years till 2012.
Dr Suresh has worked in the Tamil Nadu Public Works
Department for a year and a half and later in the Bureau
of Indian Standards for over 12 years. He was directly
associated with the formulation of the National
Standards and Codes and National Building Code (NBC). He
has an over 50-year association with the NBC effort
right from the first version in 1966.
Being a strong advocate of sustainable development,
Suresh passionately pursues disaster-resistant,
environment-friendly, ecologically-appropriate and
energy-efficient options in the built environment and
green building areas. He is also Chairman of the Indian
Green Building Council (IGBC) Policy and Advocacy
Committee and is working closely with the Good
Governance India Foundation as adviser for initiatives
for meeting the challenges of urbanisation and making
smart, green and vibrant cities. He has been a member of
the Government of India Technical Advisory Group on real
estate/housing price indices and is also a member of the
Government of India task force on rural housing and
habitat.
Besides national committees, Suresh also guides habitat
policy in Kerala and Rajasthan as member of their state
committees. He is also associated with councils such as
the Indian Buildings Congress, National Real Estate
Development Council, All India Housing Development
Association and Construction Industry Development
Council.
Representing India globally and working closely with
international organisations such as the United Nations
Development Programme, the United Nations Centre for
Human Settlements, and the United States Agency for
International Development on various aspects of
sustainable and safe human settlements, Suresh has been
conferred with 16 distinguished awards in recognition of

Prof. S. K. Garg is Professor and Head of Mechanical
Engineering Department and Former Pro Vice Chancellor
Delhi Technological University (Formerly Delhi College
of Engineering). He is the founder Head of Delhi School
of Management, DTU, offering two year full time MBA and
weekend MBA Programs. He headed the Training and
Placement Deptt of DTU from 2008-13 and in 2012, DTU
stood first in placements among all Engineering
Institutions, as per All India Survey. He is also an
Independent Director in Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, a
Navratna Public Sector Enterprise, Govt. of India.
Prof. Garg has
more than 34 years of experience in teaching and
Research and another four years in industry (Hero Honda
Motors Ltd.). His teaching and research areas include
Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management,
Manufacturing Process Automation and Technology
Management, Operations Management, Materials Management,
Operations Research, Manufacturing Strategy, Production
Planning and Control etc. Prof. Garg has guided 20 PhD
thesis, and five others are in progress. He has
published more than 150 papers including above 100 in
International Journals.
He has visited
Chile and USA in 1997 to present paper and visit
Universities. In July 2013, he visited Georg August
University, Gottingen, Germany a supervisor of DAAD
research scholar under sandwich scheme and again in
October as subject expert in Indo German Logistics Forum
workshop. In 2016, he visited several universities in
the US and UK to understand their administrative and
research eco system. He has been to Cambridge University
for one week as LEAD participant.

Dr. M P Gupta is a renowned figure in e-governance,
dedicating significant resources to developing cases,
tools, and frameworks to advance e-governance research
in India. Dr. Gupta co-authored the book "Government
Online" and edited "Towards E-government" and "Promise
of E-governance,�. Dr. Gupta has guided the production
of 14 edited volumes through the International
Conference on E-governance (ICEG) since 2003. Dr. Gupta
leads the EU-funded project "EU-India Cooperation
Platform in Future Internet and Electronic Media,"
fostering partnerships and introducing the FIWARE
platform in India. Dr. Gupta has received the Humanities
& Social Sciences fellowship from the Shastri
Indo-Canadian Institute and was a Visiting Fellow at the

Shri Rakesh Srivastava is the founder and CEO of
Innovative Prosthetics and Orthotics. Rakesh has an
incredibly rich and diverse background. Originally from
India, he received his degree at National Institute of
Rehabilitation Training and Research (NIRTAR). In 1997,
he moved to United States, attended the University of
Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) for Grad School, completed his
residency and soon after became an American Board
Certified Prosthetists and Orthotist. There is an
extremely personal dimension to Shri Rakesh�s work, as
he has been wearing a prosthetic leg for over 30 years.

Omaha(UNO) on a program called Cyborg Beast, where they
are developing an affordable and innovative prosthetic
hand that has been created utilizing new
forward-thinking 3D printing technology.
Rakesh has
worked closely with Arumina Sinha, the first woman
fitted with a prosthetic limb to successfully undertake
a mountain trek, inspiring millions of people along the
way and showcasing that anything is possible with proper
care. He has also worked with Malvika Iyer, a bomb
survivor who is well known for her social work and
touching stories that went on to affect millions of
lives.
Rakesh is also
profoundly involved with prominent non-profit
organizations based in India where he uses his
education, talent, time and generosity to assist those
who are less fortunate and may not otherwise have access
to the care they need. Rakesh is deeply respected and

engineering, energy, environment, climate management &
higher education, Dr. H.R.P. Yadav is currently Professor &
Head of Civil-Environmental Engineering Department, Amity
University, Gurugram. A Doctorate from Jamia Millia
Islamia, New Delhi in
Environmental Engineering, Dr. Yadav has a long
experience of working with Institution of Engineers
(India), where he had held various positions including
Secretary & Director General of the Institution. He has been Expert
Member of the Technical Committee for Climate Change,
Water Resources, and Sustainable Development
representing American Society of Civil Engineers at the
Asian Civil Engineering Coordinating Council. |
